The City of Lexington has been a member of GreenStep Cities since August of 2015.

We joined this program to improve our community by encouraging energy efficiency and sustainability. as of June 2022 we are a step 3 city. Our goal is to obtain the top level of 5. We are currently working toward step 4 and as of February 2023 have accomplished most of the needed items. You can view our page on the GreenStep website to see what we have done. You are welcome to send us comments, ask questions or make recommendations on Best Practices you think would be beneficial for our city.
